People love to chase the next best supplement or biohack, but NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING, moves the needle more then the basics.
…and guess what the best thing about the basics are?
Theyre absolutely free!
Most of them anyways, haha.
So below i am going to go over some of the most simple practices i try to nail down every single day, and hopefully you can start implementing them right away.
First things first.
I live by a code:
Integrity – Bravery – Compassion – Politeness – Honesty – Honor & Loyalty.
Am i perfect!?!
FUCK NO! And i sure as hell don’t pretend to be! But i strive for perfection each new day, knowing as man, i will never fully hit that target 100%
Second thing:
Two blue prints i blend together, and again i try my absolute hardest to accomplish them.
A) 75 Hard (Andy frisellas mindset program)
- 2- 45 min workouts, and one must be outside. My outside is usually a walk of 10k steps, a run, or sprints.
- 4l of water
- Follow a diet
- Read 10 pages
- No cheat meals or Alcohol
- Take a progress picture
B) The Essential 10 ( Apogees daily checklist)
- Money/Bank account check in
- Gratitude – 3 things your grateful for
- Fitness – Move your body
- Diet – Eat clean
- Love – Something special for your partner/children
- Life – Check in on a brother/friend/family member
- Journal
- Study – Build, create, learn something new
- Sleep – 6-8 hours, same time each day
- Plan – Plan your next day ahead of time
Last thing…
Yes i take a shit load of supplements, and follow a pretty intense bio hacking routine. And i believe you should too. But you don’t have too. I just think that todays world, the water, soil, and store bought products aren’t what they used to be. So were lacking proper nutrients, and there’s a lot of chemicals in everything we consume.
Implement most of these and watch your energy, and vitality sky rocket!
- Herbal teas
- Chewing, adding ginger to meals
- Walking 10 minutes after every meal
- Lymphatic massage/ Myo fascial release (Especially in the sun or undr a red light)
- Yin yoga
- Breath work
- Grounding ( Wet the ground for better conductivity)
- Chewing garlic , an or Ice cubes before bed
- Sunrise exposure
- Sunset exposure
- Sunlight exposure
- Icing your testes
- Turn wifi off as much as possible
- Put your phone in airplane mode as much as possible
- Pen to paper ( Journal, write, study)
- Sleep with an eye mask
- Sleep with mouth tape
- Gratitude or prayer practice
- Tsp of baking soda in your water at night
- Cold showers when waking
- Hot showers befoe bed
- Salt and lemon water when waking
- Humming before you eat
- 24hr digital detox day ( More the better)
- 5-10 min mobility routine when you wake up
- Incorporate a 16-24 hour fast
- Serve someone in public each day
- Check in on a friend each day
- 20-40 min power nap each day
- Aplle cider vinegar before each meal
- Bouncing for 10 mins each day
- Learn something new each day
- Scrape your tongue
- Oil pull
- Massage your face and scalp
- Practice minimalism
Aim for at least 10 of those and you will be doing well. Bang out 20-30 of those and you will be doing GREAT!
